so i got some wonderful news today- my two super good friends are coming home from south america in t-11 days!! its so wonderful! they have been gone since january and i’ve missed them everyday since. its gonna be an awesome summer of good times and great friends. (besides a couple of my favourites being away in certain lands of korea and/or ecuador).
however, this wonderfullness is going to be easily thwarted if the weather doesn’t smarten up! ive been waiting for summer since about october when it got super cold, and today its the end of may and its still only like 9 degrees out and rainy!! i hear good things about this weekend though- im pretty stoked.

today i got to talk to my friend in korea (skype is a wonderful thing).
its great because i get to talk to people from far away which is amazing, but it makes me miss them so much! its just an elaborate tease really if you think about it. darn people leaving me for korea. its like everyone and their mother that went to my university is there, plus other important people to my life. its quite unfair.
why did i choose furthering my education over going to korea with all the cool kids?
if you could go anywhere to teach, where would you go? though korea seems pretty awesome (mostly because of the wonderful people i know there) i am torn as to where i would end up. japan seems pretty cool, china as well, and then there is like spain, south america… the list just goes on and on.
